Jason Shackelford, MD

Dr. Jason Shackelford is a native of West Chester, PA.  He graduated from West Chest East High School in 1991.  He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Duke University in 1995.  After college, Dr. Shackelford worked as a research assistant (or scientist) at  both Bayer Corporation in Clayton and Raleigh, North Carolina and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in Philadelphia, PA.  In the latter position, he published original research in peer-reviewed scientific journals.  While at CHOP, he met his future wife, Michelle, and decided to become a medical doctor to directly help patients with their medical problems.  Dr. Shackelford attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA from 2002-2006.  During that time, he and Michelle were married.
